Hello, allow me to talk a little about what this site is and why.
My sister and I both have a love for Animals, we began doing rescue of Dogs back in the late 70's in Richland California.
I don't believe either of us realized the heartache we were about to get ourselves into or the trouble it would cause
us either. We took in in our first year some 900 dogs ranging from the very young to the extreme old,most cases
were just neglect in the beginning.Then the more we brought in or had brought to us showed abuse. We advertised in several
local papersl about our cause and our need for local assistance,many people did while still others let us know we were steping
on some toes of folks who were not happy about us "RESCUEING" the towns dogs.We fought the towns founding fathers for awhile
on the subject then we stoped advertising at all for fear something might happen to the Animals we were tring so hard to help.We
stayed in California for 10 years helping those we found,and I still do not regret 1 moment of those 10 years,we helped alot
of homeless dogs and catswhile we were there.Now we live here in Arkansas and I am sickened by the way Animals are treated
here and how its accepted here. This state prides its self on the fact it is a "Natural"State.....ok great but whats
so wonderful about allowing bloating carcesses of Animals to sit along the Highways causing unknown diseases to run
rampert in the streets.At least pick up the road kill and dispose of their rotting bodies into a landfill?. I am still rescueing
Both dogs and cats here,some we find good loving homes for some die in our care.
This is what GOD called us to do and I take the good with the bad,its just harder to take all the bad that comes
